FARC attack kills 16 policemen and a civilian in Colombia

At least 16 policemen and a civilian were killed Wednesday in an attack on a police station in northern Colombia. Local authorities blamed the attack on the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
More than 400 rebels took part in the attack by firing mortars and rifle craft, in Tierradentro in rural province of Cordoba, 370 miles from Bogota.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Defence, "and a civilian were killed 16 policemen and two civilians and three policemen were injured. " (LEAF)
